Greenway and Park Advisory Board (GPAB)
2012 GPAB Meeting Schedule
Agenda for February 6, 2012 meeting
The Greenway and Park Advisory Board (GPAB) was established in 1994 by the LIMC with the primary purpose of assisting in the implementation of the 1993 LIMC Regional Park and Open Space Plan. Through the 1990's, GPAB acted more as a planning committee with primary focus on the Conestoga River Corridor Management Study and the "Conestoga Greenways" project. GPAB was a primary entity in the development and establishment of the current Conestoga Greenway trail. In 2000, GPAB officially organized as an advisory board with the creation and adoption of bylaws. Growing Together, which was adopted in 2007 by the LIMC, contains a section titled "Park and Open Sapce." The guidance plan within this section serves as a replacement to the original 1993 Regional Park and Open Space Plan.
